One of the things that I've been working on over the past couple of weeks has been an increased emphasis on abstraction. It's not that I suddenly want to declare myself an abstract painter, I just want to use it as a way to place more emphasis on the light and the shapes. All that comes, of course, at the expense of the representation of forms.
